Overview

UGANDA-59-682x1024.jpg

Wanting to finally accomplish a lifelong dream of observing the mountain gorillas as the catalyst, this trip consisted of three retired siblings and their significant others. Marking their third safari with Next Adventure, this is their most comprehensive trip yet! The group didn’t let their “mature” age hold them back from embarking on this physically challenging adventure.

Desiring to see chimpanzees as well, we orchestrated a Uganda-only safari for the group. This country is great for those who want to explore beyond the confines of a vehicle because Uganda hosts several opportunities for trekking and walking experiences. They started off in a classic-style safari camp for their Chimp Trek followed by an old-fashion safari lodge right on the Kazinga Channel. Here, they got to enjoy some big game viewing before moving on to the Ishasha Region. Of course, we had to pair their Gorilla Treks with a remarkable accommodation that offered sensational dining, friendly, personal service and breathtaking views. Still, every accommodation is comfy and designed in good taste without being over-the-top in the slightest. These travelers unanimously concluded that though this trip covered a lot of ground and had many strenuous aspects, it was extremely rewarding nonetheless.
