Overview

Zimbabwe-54-600x400.jpg

Zimbabwe boasts big game and diverse wildlife species, plentiful birdlife and highly professional guides ensuring this is the perfect destination for the active and adventurous travelers. Zimbabwe is also home to five Unesco World Heritage sites including the majestic Victoria Falls and the Mana-Sapi-Chewore biosphere.

This itinerary begins with two camps, Sapi Explorers Camp and Sapi Spring Camp, both located in the 120,000 hectare private Sapi Reserve on the eastern boundary of the Mana Pools Reserve. The Sapi Reserve is a remote and authentic wild safari experience. You have the opportunity to explore this stunning wilderness by vehicle as well as in the footsteps of early explorers. You’ll be guided on foot, canoe and boat by the expert wildlife guides.

You’ll end at Mpala Jena Camp, an exclusive canvas tented camp, located on a private concession within the Zambezi National Park, just outside Victoria Falls. The camp is named after the natural spring-line which runs through the centre of the concession, and also means “White Impala”, following regular sightings of a “ghost-like” albino impala in the late 1970’s. The property is conveniently located 16 kilometerss inside the Zambezi National Park which make easy access to Victoria Falls town and the wide range of activities there, but far enough from the hustle and bustle that you can relax and enjoy the incredible setting and wild habitat of the Zambezi National Park.
