Overview

UGANDAEXTRA-13-600x400.jpg

This couple has a long passion and fascination for travel throughout Africa, and Kili has had the pleasure to plan a number of interesting and unique itineraries for them. He is a talented photographer with a keen eye, and she is a painter that brings safari moments to life on canvas.

For this safari, we were focused on seeing the most of Uganda and exploring some areas that are often overlooked. Of course, we included chimpanzee experiences as well as two treks with mountain gorillas, but we also tied in cultural visits with the Batwa community, boating excursions, traditional game drive safaris and a few nights in the far north eastern corner of the country in Kidepo Valley National Park.

Kidepo was a mystery for us, not having heard of it before it was suggested. But we really did love the whole experience. The landscapes were gorgeous, both the surrounding savannah, but also the wonderful volcanic landscape, strewn with giant Euphorbia trees on our way to the Ik experience. β€” Andy and Melinda, Berkeley, CA
