From South Luangwa to the Okavango Delta
Famous for its abundant wildlife and unspoiled beauty, South Luangwa offers thrilling game drives and walking safaris, where you can track lions, leopards, and wild dogs on foot—the birthplace of the walking safari concept.
Evening game drives allow for unique encounters with nocturnal creatures, and the park's stunning landscape, with the Luangwa River winding through, provides the perfect backdrop for unforgettable wildlife experiences.
Livingstone is home to one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, Victoria Falls. Known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya or "The Smoke That Thunders," Victoria Falls is an awe-inspiring sight, with water cascading over 100 meters into the Batoka Gorge, creating a roaring mist that can be seen for miles.
Known as the "Land of Giants" for its immense elephant population, Chobe National Park offers boat safaris along the Chobe River, where you can watch elephants swimming, see crocodiles basking on the banks, and marvel at the birdlife that thrives in this rich ecosystem. Whether on land or water, Chobe promises unrivaled wildlife sightings in a truly breathtaking setting.
The grand finale of this custom safari brings you to the world-famous Okavango Delta, one of the largest inland deltas on Earth. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a lush oasis in the heart of the Kalahari Desert, filled with life-sustaining waterways and intricate channels that create a wildlife paradise.
Experience the delta’s magic from a traditional mokoro canoe, silently gliding past herds of lechwe, elephants, and hippos as the sun glistens on the water. The Delta’s diverse habitats—ranging from permanent marshlands to seasonal floodplains—support incredible biodiversity, from elusive sitatunga antelopes to an array of bird species.
Client Testimonial
My wife and I recently returned from an incredible two-week safari organized by Jana, Kili, and the extended Next Adventure team, and it was indeed the trip of a lifetime. Every detail was handled with precision and care. The logistics involved were astounding—seven small planes, two helicopters, multiple road transfers, and border crossings—all seamlessly executed. Not once did we feel lost or unsure. We were expertly guided and cared for every step of the way.
The lodges and bush camps were luxurious yet in harmony with nature, and the amenities were top-notch—everything from comfortable beds to beautifully appointed bathrooms. Every little detail was thought of. The staff were some of the kindest and most humble people I've ever met, and their genuine warmth made each stay special. This trip marked our tenth anniversary, and every camp and lodge knew and made sure to celebrate it with us in their own unique way.
The food, service, and amenities were simply spectacular. Each evening meal felt like a five-star dining experience, even in the middle of the wilderness. From fresh, local ingredients to beautifully prepared dishes and place settings, the culinary team exceeded our expectations at every camp and lodge. The service was equally outstanding, with attentive, friendly staff who anticipated our every need. The settings of each location were perfectly chosen, with luxury tents and lodges that blended seamlessly into the stunning natural landscapes. Whether waking up to a sunrise over the Okavango Delta, a sunset on the Zambezi River, or dining under the stars, the ambiance was magical.
While the safaris and the breathtaking wildlife are covered in other reviews, they lived up to the hype and were spectacular and beyond words.Witnessing the truth essence of the animals in their habitat was nature at it’s finest and awe inspiring. But if I had to choose one highlight, it would be our two nights at the Tongabezi Lodge and swimming in Devil's Pool at Victoria Falls. With the falls at an all-time low due to drought, we were able to swim right to the edge and peer over; it was indeed an unforgettable and thrilling experience!
Next Adventure exceeded our expectations and made our anniversary celebration something we'll remember forever. If you're looking for an adventure of a lifetime, this is the team to make it happen. Thank you, Kili, Jana, and everyone at Next Adventure! Don and Lisa
